Glynwood Farm Dance Gala

The 2019 Glynwood Farm Dance Gala will raise funds for programs that foster sustainable food and farming efforts in the Hudson Valley. The event will include a cocktail hour, live auction, locally-sourced dinner, and dancing; all set within the beautiful farm grounds.  Lynn McCary Events will coordinate the day-of event production.

Dinner on 8th

Date: Thursday, September 12, 2019
Location: West 8th Street, West Village, NYC

This outdoor dining event will take place on a beloved block of the West 8th Street in the Greenwich Village.  Twenty local restaurants and bars will present special tasting menus and drinks with festive street lighting and live jazz music setting the mood.  The event will be open to the public and “tastes” will start at $4. Lynn McCary Events is responsible for the planning and day-of production of the event.

Munich Security Conference Dinner

Date: Friday, September 20, 2019
Location: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC

The Munich Security Conference is the world’s leading forum for debating international security policy.  The Germany-based NGO will bring high-profile decision-makers and thought-leaders from around the world for a private dinner in The Temple of Dendur in The Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Lynn McCary Events will oversee the day-of production of the event.

Astor Alive! 2019 Festival

Date: Saturday, September 21, 2019
Location: Astor Place Plaza, NYC

The annual Astor Alive! Festival, which takes place next to the iconic Astor Place Cube, is an ongoing collaboration between The Village Alliance and Joe’s Pub at The Public. This free and  open to the public event will showcase dance and music by a diverse group of performers including the Ailey Extension, Imani Uzuri, Bulla el en Barrio, and Celisse Henderson. Lynn McCary Events is responsible for the planning and day-of production of the festival.

The Olana Partnership Fredric Church Award Gala

Date: Wednesday, October 2, 2019
Location: Rainbow Room, NYC

The Olana Partnership is a steward of the Olana House, the historic home of Frederic Edwin Church, one of the greatest 19th century landscape artists in America.  This year’s Fredric Church Award Gala will honor Rose Harvey, the former NYS Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and Jazz Johnson Merton, the former chair of Olana’s Board of Trustees. Lynn McCary Events is overseeing planning of the benefit and will co-ordinate the day-of event production.

Baryshnikov Arts Center Fall Fête

Date: Monday, October 7, 2019
Location: Baryshnikov Arts Center, NYC

The 2019 Fall Fête will honor Isaac Mizrahi and Jarrett and Maritess Lilien  for their ongoing support of artists and arts organizations throughout New York City. The event will feature a premiere of HERZ SCHMERZ, a new dance-theater collaboration from choreographer John Heginbotham and designer Maira Kalman, followed by a festive dinner and a silent art auction.  The event will raise funds to support the Baryshnikov Arts Center’s artist residencies and performance programs. Lynn McCary Events is overseeing planning of the benefit and will co-ordinate the day-of event production. 

The Kenyon Review 2019 Award for Literary Achievement

Date: Wednesday, November 6, 2019
Location: Rainbow Room, NYC

The annual Kenyon Review Award for Literary Achievement celebrates writers for the courage of their vision, their unparalleled imagination, and for the beauty of their art.  The 2019 award will be presented to the acclaimed American novelist and short story writer T. Coraghessan Boyle. The evening’s proceeds will benefit the Kenyon Review and scholarships to the Review’s prestigious summer programs for young writers. Lynn McCary Events is overseeing planning of the benefit and will co-ordinate the day-of event production.

National Coalition Against Censorship Annual Benefit

Date: Monday, November 11, 2019
Location: Tribeca 360, NYC

The National Coalition Against Censorship promotes freedom of thought, inquiry and expression and advocates for policies and reforms that protect First Amendment rights. The organization works with schools and libraries as well as individual artists and arts institutions to oppose censorship in all its forms. The Coalition’s annual fall gala will honor the bestselling author Jason Reynolds and, posthumously, the groundbreaking multi-disciplinary artist Carolee Schneemann.  The event will also feature an online art auction powered by Paddle 8 and a silent book auction. Lynn McCary Events is overseeing planning of the event and will co-ordinate the day-of event production

The American University of Beirut IAC Dinner

Date: Thursday, November 14, 2019
Location: Rainbow Room, NYC

Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut bases its educational philosophy, standards, and practices on the American liberal arts model of higher education.  On November 16th, the University will bring together its Board of Directors and International Advisory Council for a private dinner and panel discussion about the issues facing the Middle East today.  Lynn McCary Events is overseeing planning of the event and will co-ordinate the day-of event production
