On September 21, Lynn McCary Events coordinated an evening reception for over 350 guests at the Synod House at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine. The event, which was a part of the UN Climate Summit 2014 activities, celebrated the leadership of the interfaith community around the world in the fight against climate change. The evening's program included remarks and announcements by Stephen Heintz, the President of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Reverend Lennox Yearwood, Jr., the President of the Hip Hop Caucus, and special performances by Antonique Smith and Malik Yusef.

The Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University Medical Center provides outstanding clinical care to more than 14,000 children and adults with diabetes each year and serves as the nexus for the Columbia University research programs aimed at a cure for diabetes. On October 8, the Berrie Center will celebrate fifteen years of making a difference in the lives of children and adults with diabetes at a dinner and live auction on the set of Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Funds raised that night will help to support clinical care programs and cutting edge research efforts taking place at the Center.

The evening's proceeds will benefit The Kenyon Review as well as scholarships to the Review's prestigious summer programs for young writers.
