Lynn McCary Events managed guest relations and seating at the American Justice Summit, a half-day forum presented by Tina Brown Live Media, in partnership with John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Credit Suisse, the Ford Foundation, Investigation Discovery Channel, the Marshall Project, and VICE News. The summit brought together more than 500 participants, including politicians, law enforcement personnel, the media, academia, government, and grassroots activists. Panel discussions and in-depth interviews explored the inequities within the U.S. justice system with the help of guest speakers such as Bill Bratton, Piper Kerman, Mitch Landrieu, George Stephanopoulos, Jeffrey Toobin, and Darren Walker.

Event: The Kenyon Review Award for Literary Achievement

Location: The Four Seasons Restaurant, NYC
Lynn McCary Events was the event coordinator behind the Kenyon Review's 2014 Benefit Gala. More than 200 attendees celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the renowned literary journal at the beautiful Four Seasons restaurant. The novelist Ann Patchett received the 2014 Award for Literary Achievement and over $130,000 was raised for scholarships to the Review's prestigious summer writing program. Congratulations, The Kenyon Review, and here's to the next 75 years!

Event: The Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center 15th Anniversary Benefit Gala

On October 8, Lynn McCary Events managed a reception and dinner on the set of Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Our client, the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University Medical Center, celebrated its 15th anniversary with a benefit gala that raised over $700,000 for clinical care programs and cutting edge research efforts aimed at a cure for diabetes.

Event: UN Climate Summit 2014 Reception
Date: Sunday, September 21, 2014
Location: Synod House at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine
On September 21, Lynn McCary Events coordinated an evening reception for over 350 guests at the Synod House at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine. The event, which was a part of the UN Climate Summit 2014 activities, celebrated the leadership of the interfaith community around the world in the fight against climate change. The evening's program included remarks and announcements by Stephen Heintz, the President of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Reverend Lennox Yearwood, Jr., the President of the Hip Hop Caucus, and special performances by Antonique Smith and Malik Yusef.
